POWERMAX HIGH-OUTPUT ALTERNATORS
The PowerMax High-Output Alternator should be the first item to consider when expanding or upgrading your charging system. The PowerMax delivers incredibly high output even at idle or low engine RPM.
In combination with our basic 2-step voltage regulator, or matched with a smart 3-step regulator, you can be sure that your PowerMax alternator represents one of the most efficient methods of charging your batteries. With 5-6 times more charging power than standard alternators, a PowerMax provides reduced engine running time which will save on fuel consumption, noise, heat, and main engine wear and tear.
NOTE: All Powermax Alternators (except the Powermax LT's) require the use of an external regulator (sold separately) to operate.
POWERMAX LT, HIGH-OUTPUT ALTERNATORS - Internally regulated
The new Powermax LT series alternators are 100 amp high output, internally regulated alternators. These cost effective alternators are a perfect solution for applications requiring MORE POWER than the stock engine alternator can provide, but do not need the charging capability of a Powermax that requires an external, smart regulator system to operate.
Fast, simple installation and choice of single foot or saddle mount, (dual foot). The saddle mount format is shown at left.
A PowerMax high-output alternator driven from a main engine on a boat, RV or other vehicle can serve as your primary charging source, or as a powerful backup to renewable chargers. Either way, you will increase your power systems charging efficiency, dramatically. Choose the PowerMax that is right for your engine, then select the other components you will need for a professional installation. Or consider a Powermax packaged system.
